No. A resurface is a four-stage bond: grind, crack repair, spray-on concrete, seal. It uses premium coating systems engineered for Australian sun and traffic. It is a mechanically bonded finish, not a topcoat of paint, and it is built to last 10+ years.
02How long will the area be out of action?+
Usually 2 to 4 days on-site. We confirm cure and use times in writing before we start. For driveways, most families park on the street for the duration. You will not be stuck without your space for weeks.
03Can you resurface over an existing stencil or painted driveway?+
Yes, in most cases. We grind the old stencil or paint back to clean concrete first, so the new system has a proper mechanical bond. We confirm the slab is suitable at the on-site inspection.
04Will it be slippery, especially around the pool?+
No. We finish pool surrounds, paths and wet-feet zones with a P5 slip-resistant seal, the same rating used in commercial wet areas.
05Can I choose the colour and finish?+
Yes. Our coating systems run a wide range of colours, finishes and textures. We match the look to the property at the on-site inspection.
06How do I look after it day to day?+
Treat it like quality tile. A hose-down, the occasional broom and a mild detergent for spills. Avoid blasting it with a high-pressure washer right against the seal, and avoid harsh solvents.
07What happens if it rains during the job?+
We watch the forecast and book around it. The seal needs dry curing, so if a storm rolls in we cover the work, pause, and pick up cleanly the next clear day.
