No. A resurface is a four-stage bond: grind, crack repair, spray-on concrete, seal. It uses Dulux Avista systems engineered for Australian sun and traffic. It is a mechanically bonded finish, not a topcoat of paint, and it is built to last 10+ years.
02How long will the area be out of action?+
Usually 2 to 4 days on-site. We confirm cure and use times in writing before we start. For driveways, most families park on the street for the duration. You will not be stuck without your space for weeks.
03Can you resurface over an existing stencil or painted driveway?+
Yes, in most cases. We grind the old stencil or paint back to clean concrete first, so the new system has a proper mechanical bond. We confirm the slab is suitable at the on-site inspection.
04Will it be slippery, especially around the pool?+
No. We finish pool surrounds, paths and wet-feet zones with a P5 slip-resistant seal, the same rating used in commercial wet areas.
05Can I choose the colour and finish?+
